Tall Celosia plants yet to flower
These Celosia (Cockscomb) plants have grown very tall. I have three of these tall ones in my garden which are yet to flower. These have been grown on ground soil and have been flourishing well.
What I have noticed is that better the plant growth, more delayed the flowering. We had a garden pot full of seedlings which were replanted in pots of varying size and on ground soil. The ones planted on ground soil grew very fast and became quite tall, almost half as I am. Those largest plants are yet to flower! I wonder what the observation of others are!!
Those in small pots grew very little, but started flowering soon, with tiny flowers. Those which grew better flowered later, with larger and more beautiful flowers.
