Rose stem sprouting after 9 weeks of dormancy!
|Rose stem sprouting after 9 weeks of dormancy!
This rose stem is sprouting after 9 weeks of dormancy! Other two stems planted along with this sprouted in 3 weeks and started flowering 3 weeks back. In fact my grandson had pulled it out last month to check for roots and there were none!
The first two stem cuttings had sprouted in 3 weeks. I have even planted a second generation stem cutting from one of them in the pot in which the dormant stem cutting was there. Part of the second generation stem cutting has withered off. Few green leaves of the second generation stem cutting are still remaining. Waiting for a new sprout in that as well. But it is a smaller branch compared to the previous ones brought from elsewhere.
