Mango plant update
This is the mango plant in the close up view. Looks quite splendid in the pot.
The mango plant has started developing new tender leaves at the base! They are pinkish, quite unlike the dark green colour of the mature leaves. To my surprise, they have sprung up near the base of the plant, rather than at the top of the branches as is usual. You can see several carrot saplings and part of the hairy stem of a tomato plant behind the mango plant in the same pot.
Here you can see pinkish tender leaves at the base and light green to pink ones at the top. I am not sure whether the very small light green tender leaves will get pinkish as they grow. Of course, when the leaves mature, all these will have dark green colour like the other leaves.
