Fruit plants

So far, I had only vegetables in my nano horticulture portfolio. I was thinking of how to acquire a few fruit plants into the list. Bought a few from the local nursery yesterday. Had quite a long discussion on which fruits plants can be grown in garden pots and what should be the minimum size of the pots, obviously, due to space constraints. I was told that 24 inch pots would be fine but can settle with 16 pots for some plants. Finally narrowed on to 16 inch pots for a couple of orange plants and a mango plant. 16 inch pots were filled with potting mixture and plants were set in them and delivered to me from the local nursery.

Mango plant

This is the mango plant in a close up view. Looks quite splendid in the pot. Let me hope that it will grow well and bear fruits soon.

Orange plant

Close up view of one of the orange plants is here. You may notice the stem of the other plant in a nearby pot.

Orange plant

This is the close up view of the other orange plant. I am hoping that these two also will grow up well and produce fruits soon. Shall post updates later. Water drops trickling down the wall are also seen well in the background.
