Cabbage plants growing well
|Cabbage plants growing well
My cabbage plants are growing well in multiple garden pots. These were grown from very tiny seeds bought online. Of course, parts of several leaves have been eaten away! Read somewhere that even we can eat cabbage leaves after cooking. After all the cabbage head which we eat is also a modified set of leaves, or that is what I presume! I am not sure how well these plants will survive the heavy downpour in our rainy season which is about to start.
Earlier I could reduce the onslaught of insects eating away the leaves by shifting the plants to bright sunlight. But that meant watering them more than once a day. With the onset of the monsoon rains, sunny days will be a rarity and I expect the number of insects attacking the plants to grow exponentially!
